Ingredients
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) sugar
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) unsalted butter, cubed
  • Preparation
  • In a saucepan off the heat, combine the egg and sugar with a whisk. Add the lemon juice and butter. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring with a whisk. Remove from the heat at the first boil and pour into a bowl. Let cool. Cover and refrigerate until completely chilled.
