No-Cook Strawberry Jam

Ingredients
  • 6 cups (1.5 litres) strawberries, fresh or frozen and thawed
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) orange juice
  • 1 1/2 cups (375 ml) sugar
  • 1 package 45 grams freezer jam powdered pectin
  • Preparation
  • Dice 500 ml (2 cups) of the strawberries. Set aside.
  • With a potato masher or in a food processor, purée the remaining strawberries with the orange juice. Add the sugar. Add the diced strawberries. Stir to combine and let stand for 15 minutes.
  • Add the pectin and stir for 3 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes. Pour into jars and freeze.
  • The jam will keep in the freezer for 1 year or for up to 3 weeks in the refrigerator.
