1/4 cup (60 ml) hoisin sauce

1/4 cup (60 ml) ketchup

2 tablespoons (30 ml) soy sauce

1 tablespoon (15 ml) oyster sauce

1 tablespoon (15 ml) sugar

Salt and pepper

In a small saucepan, brown the onion in the oil. Add the remaining ingredients and bring to boil. Simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens. Set aside.
