1 tablespoon (15 ml) powdered milk or liquid soy beverage
1 cup (250 ml) ice cubes
1 cup (250 ml) mango, pear or banana nectar, chilled
1/4 cup (60 ml) tapioca pearls, cooked and chilled (see note)
Pour the tea and powdered milk or soy beverage into a blender. Blend for 1 second.
Add the ice and fruit nectar. Pulse for several seconds.
Spoon the tapioca into 2 large glasses. Add the tea mixture.
Place fat straws in the glasses and serve.
