  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) boiling hot green tea
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) powdered milk or liquid soy beverage
  • 1 cup (250 ml) ice cubes
  • 1 cup (250 ml) mango, pear or banana nectar, chilled
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) tapioca pearls, cooked and chilled (see note)
  • Preparation
  • Pour the tea and powdered milk or soy beverage into a blender. Blend for 1 second.
  • Add the ice and fruit nectar. Pulse for several seconds.
  • Spoon the tapioca into 2 large glasses. Add the tea mixture.
  • Place fat straws in the glasses and serve.
