  • 24 chicken wings
  • 3/4 cup (180 ml) ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons (10 ml) dried thyme
  • 2 teaspoons (10 ml) garlic salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons (7.5 ml) Tabasco sauce, or to taste
  • Preparation
  • With the rack in the lowest position, preheat the oven to 190 °C (375 °F).
  • In preparing the wings, you will notice that they have two joints. With a chef's knife, cut the two joints. (You get three pieces for each wing) Throw away the little pointy end where there is no meat. You will get 48 pieces.
  • In a bowl, combine all the remaining ingredients. Add the chicken and let marinate for 2 to 24 hours in the refrigerator.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the wings on the baking sheet. Bake for about 45 minutes.
