2.5 ml (1/2 tsp) vanilla extract, or other to taste (orange, coffee, almond)
2 sticks cinnamon (optional)
Preparation
In a small saucepan, combine the milk, chai tea, anise and cardamom. Warm over medium heat, without boiling, for about 12 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat and strain.
Add the brown sugar and vanilla extract. Serve warm with a cinnamon stick, if desired. You can also refrigerate the chai latte to enjoy it cold.
