Recipe Yield: Total time: 45 minutes, plus at least 6 hours or overnight chilling | Serves 8
3/4 cup freshly brewed espresso or other strong coffee 2 tablespoons sugar 3 tablespoons coffee liqueur 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon water 2 tablespoons whipping cream

Step 1 Combine all of the ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, turn down and simmer for a few minutes until the mixture thickens. Serve warm or at room temperature. May be covered and refrigerated until ready to serve. Makes about 1 cup.
