Ingredients
  • 1 lb (450 g) spot prawns, with shells
  • Preparation
  • Place the prawns in a pot of salted cold water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 2 minutes. Immediately rinse under cold running water to stop the cooking. Drain. Place in a bowl and refrigerate for 1 hour or until chilled.
  • Drain the prawns. Serve with cocktail sauce or as part of the coast-to-coast Canadian seafood platter (see recipe).
