Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups (375 ml) dark rum
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) brown sugar
  • Zest of 1 lemon, removed with a peeler
  • Zest of 1 orange, removed with a peeler
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 3 cloves
  • 1 whole nutmeg
  • Preparation
  • In a 500 ml (2 cups) jar, combine all the ingredients. Close tightly. Steep for about 1 week at room temperature.
  • Filter. Keep the orange or lemon zest to decorate the glasses.
