Ingredients
  • 1 cup (250 ml) sugar
  • 1/4 lb (117 g) butter
  • 2 cups (500 ml) corn flakes (such as Kellogg's), coarsely crushed
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) shredded coconut
  • 4 1/2 tablespoons (70 ml) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla extract
    • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) coffee or
    • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) rum, or other liqueur of your choice
  • Preparation
  • In a bowl, combine the sugar with the butter. Add the corn flakes, coconut, cocoa powder, vanilla, and coffee or rum.
  • Shape into small balls, roll in the shredded coconut or chocolate shavings and refrigerate until ready to serve.
