Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp softened butter
  • 2 slices white bread
  • 2 slices cheddar cheese
  • Preparation
  • Spread half of the butter on one side of a bread slice. Place the cheese on the unbuttered side, close the sandwich and butter the top slice.
  • In a non-stick skillet over medium heat, grill the sandwich for 3 minutes or until golden brown. Flip the sandwich over and lightly press with a spatula. Grill until golden brown and the cheese has melted.
  • Let the grilled cheese rest for 2 minutes. Cut into triangles and serve with soup or sliced raw vegetables.
