1/2 cup (125 ml) Medjool dates, pitted and quartered
1/2 cup (125 ml) toasted slivered almonds
Preparation
In a saucepan, bring the apple juice, maple syrup and cinnamon to a boil. Remove from the heat. Stir in the couscous and dates. Cover and let rest for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork. Add the almonds.
Serve hot or warm for breakfast.
