Ingredients
  • 3 tablespoons (45 ml) flax seeds
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup (250 ml) milk
  • 3/4 cup (180 ml) water
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) sugar
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 cup (250 ml) flour
  • Preparation
  • In a coffee or flaxseed grinder, grind the flax seeds.
  • In a bowl, whisk together all of the ingredients, except for the flaxseed, until the mixture is smooth. Pass the batter through a sieve. Stir in the ground flaxseed. Let rest for 15 minutes.
  • Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Brush with butter. Pour about 75 ml (1/3 cup) of batter for each pancake. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes per side or until golden brown. Keep warm.
