2 Cortland or Granny Smith apples, unpeeled and grated (or both varieties for colour)
1/2 cup (125 ml) dried cranberries
1/2 cup (125 ml) maple syrup
1/4 cup (60 ml) ground flax seeds or
1/4 cup (60 ml) whole chia seeds
Preparation
In a bowl, combine the oats, yogurt, and milk. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Add the apples, dried fruit, maple syrup, flax or chia seeds, and vanilla to the oatmeal mixture.
Serve in the centre of the table with fresh fruit, yogurt and, nuts in separate bowls and let each person prepare their own muesli.
