Ingredients
  • 3 cups (750 ml) rolled oats
  • 1 cup (250 ml) chopped plain almonds
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) shelled plain pumpkin seeds
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) shelled plain sunflower
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) salt
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) canola oil
  • Preparation
  • With the rack in the middle position, preheat the oven to 160 °C (325 °F).
  • In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients. Add syrup and oil and toss to combine.
  • Spread mixture on a baking sheet. Bake for about 30 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes. Cool completely. If desired, add dried fruit, to taste (raisins, cranberries, blueberries, apricots, etc.). Store in an airtight container.
