Ingredients
  • 3 cups (750 ml) rolled oats
  • 1 cup (250 ml) slivered almonds
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) unsalted pistachios
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) raisins
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) dried cranberries
  • Preparation
  • With the rack in the middle position, preheat the oven to 170 °C (325 °F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, combine the oats, almonds, pistachios, and sunflower seeds. Add the syrup and butter and toss thoroughly. Spread over the baking sheet. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes, or until the granola is golden brown. Let cool completely. Add the dried fruit.
  • Serve as a cereal or in the Brunch Sundae (see recipe).
