Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup (180 ml) honey
  • The juice of 1 lime
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) fresh ginger, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) freshly ground pink peppercorn
  • 2 teaspoons (10 ml) fresh mint, chopped
  • 3 cups (750 ml) mixed fruit (mango, grape, strawberry, banana, etc..), cut into 1.5-inch (3.75-cm) pieces
  • 4 skewers
  • Preparation
  • In a bowl, combine all the marinade ingredients. Add the fruit and let stand for at least one hour at room temperature.
  • Preheat the grill to high.
  • Thread the fruit on the skewers. Reserve the marinade.
  • Grill for 2 to 3 minutes per side.
  • Serve over vanilla ice cream or plain yogurt and drizzle with the remaining marinade.
