Ingredients
1/2 pound lamb scraps or 1 pound lamb bones
1/4 onion
1/4 carrot
1 peppercorn
1/2 teaspoon salt
Preparation
Step 1 Put 2 1/2 cups water, the lamb, onion, carrot, peppercorn and salt in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat to simmer and cook, covered, 1 hour. Strain. Makes 2 1/4 cups.
