Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup (250 ml) freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 6 slices Black Forest ham, cut into strips
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 lb (375 g) spaghettini, cooked and kept warm
  • Salt and pepper
  • Preparation
  • In a bowl, beat together the milk, eggs, and Parmesan cheese. Set aside.
  • In a saucepan, sauté the green onions and ham in the oil until the onions begin to brown. Add the flour and stir to combine.
  • Over low heat, stir in the egg mixture. Stir until the cheese has melted. Do not overcook.
  • Add the pasta and season with salt and pepper. Toss and serve.
