Heat oven to 375 F.
In a large mixing bowl, beat together the sugar, sour cream, butter, molasses, and egg on medium speed. Beat in the remaining ingredients on medium speed.
Using 1″ cookie scoop, drop dough on an un-greased cookie sheet, 2″ apart. Bake 9-11 minutes, or until the cookies almost spring back when touched in the center of the cookies.
Remove them from the oven, and let rest on the cookie sheet for 2 minutes. Then, remove the cookies and allow them to finish cooling on a wire rack.
