3 tablespoons (45 ml) strong unflavoured black tea (Darjeeling, for example)
3 tablespoons (45 ml) sugar, to taste
Preparation
In a saucepan, add the water and spices. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
Add the milk, tea and sugar. Bring to a boil again and simmer for about 5 minutes or a little more to get a drink with a thicker texture. Strain and pour into cups.
