4 slices tomato

Preheat the grill, setting the burners to medium.
In a bowl with your hands, combine the sausage meat, ground veal and garlic. Lightly season with salt. Shape into thin patties. Sprinkle with sesame seeds on both sides.
Meanwhile, grill the onions. Set aside.
Set the burners to high. Grill the patties for about 3 minutes per side or until they are thoroughly cooked. Toast the buns.
Generously spread hummus onto the bottom portion of the each bun.
Layer with a patty, grilled onions, Dijon mustard, a tomato slice, and lettuce.
