Ingredients
  • 4 cups (1 litre) peeled and cubed potatoes
  • 2 pears, peeled, cored and cubed
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) butter
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) milk (approximate)
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) chopped fresh mint
  • Preparation
  • In a large saucepan, cook the potatoes and pears in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain.
  • Mash the potatoes and pears with the butter. Using an electric mixer, beat in the milk and mint until smooth. Adjust the seasoning.
  • Delicious with Paprika Lamb Chops.
