Ingredients
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) olive oil
  • 1 1/2 cups (375 ml) tomato coulis or tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) vegetable broth
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) chopped fresh basil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Preparation
  • In a small saucepan, brown the garlic in the oil. Add the tomato coulis, broth and bay leaf. Season with salt and pepper. Let simmer for 10 minutes. Remove the bay leaf. Set aside.
