In a saucepan, combine the raspberries, ripe pears and water. Bring to a boil and simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes.
Add the sugar and simmer for 45 minutes, stirring frequently.
Add the firm pears and lemon juice. Bring to a boil and cook over medium heat for about 30 minutes or until the jam takes a syrupy texture.
Pour the jam into jars.
