Ingredients
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) brown sugar
  • 5 ml (1 tsp) balsamic vinegar
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Preparation
  • With the rack in the middle position, preheat the oven to 200 °C (400 °F). Place a rack over a baking sheet.
  • On a work surface, place the bacon slices.
  • In a small bowl, combine the remaining ingredients. With a pastry brush, brush the bacon with the balsamic mixture. Place the slices on the rack. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes or until the bacon is cooked and golden brown. Let cool on the rack for about 5 minutes or until crisp.
  • The glazed bacon can be kept for about 1 week in an airtight container.
