  • 10 Cortland apples
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) sugar
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) water
  • Preparation
  • Cut the apples into quarters, remove the seeds, then place in a saucepan with the sugar and water. Cook for about 25 minutes on medium heat.
  • Pass the apples through a food mill to purée and remove the peel.
