Ingredients
  • 6 cups (1.5 litres) Brussels sprouts, halved
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 3 tablespoons (45 ml) olive oil
  • 3 Empire apples, unpeeled, cored and each cut into 8 wedges
  • Salt and pepper
  • Preparation
  • Preheat the oven in 180°C (350 °F).
  • On a baking sheet, toss the Brussels sprouts with the onion and oil. Season with salt and pepper. Place the Brussels sprouts, cut side down on the baking sheet.
  • Bake for 15 minutes. Add the apples and bake for 30 minutes or until sprouts are tender and well roasted.
