2 1/2 cups (625 ml) milk

3 oz (90 g) semisweet chocolate, chopped

Approximately 1/8 tsp (0.5 ml) Cayenne pepper

1/2 tsp (2.5 ml) vanilla extract

1/4 cup (60 ml) 35% cream, whipped (optional)

In a saucepan, heat the milk without boiling. Add the chocolate and whisk until melted.

Add the cayenne pepper and vanilla. Blend.

Pour into hot bowls or cups. Garnish with whipped cream.
