Ingredients
  • 16 slices baguette
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) butter
    • 1 cup (250 ml) 35% cream or
    • 15% cooking cream
  • Preparation
  • With the rack in the highest position, preheat the broiler.
  • On a baking sheet, place the bread slices and toast in the oven.
  • In a skillet, soften the garlic in the butter. Add the cream and nutmeg. Reduce by half. Add the spinach and continue cooking until the cream has thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Spread the spinach mixture on each toast and garnish with a slice of goat cheese. Broil until the cheese is melted.
