Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) water
  • 1 cup (250 ml) brown sugar
  • 2 1/2 cups (625 ml) high quality dark rum
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) lime juice
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) citrus juice of your choice
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) Angostura
  • 1 nutmeg
  • Preparation
  • In a small saucepan, heat the water and sugar until it dissolves. Remove from the heat and allow to cool.
  • In a pitcher, combine the rum and fruit juice. Add the Angostura and the cooled syrup.
  • Pour into glasses half-filled with crushed ice. Grate a little nutmeg on top of each glass and serve.
